Bottle at eikan pub, järvenpää. Clear copper color, white head. Aroma is mainly sweet, yeasty notes, raisins, hint of alcohol. Sweet body, spices, raisins, hops at the end, some fruity notes. Closer to belgian strong ale than ipa.

(bottle) hazy deep golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of herbal hops, caramel and dandelions, slightly yeasty, with a hint of orange juice and earth. flavour is mostly raisins, earth and caramel, with a touch of treebark and some more dandelions in the finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2015 Bottle 330 ml, pours golden with very fast falling white head. In aroma a lot of barnyard combined with citrus and tropical fruits, honey and a touch of vinegar. Sweetness and sourness on medium level rather typical for belgian ales with a hint of bitterness. A little bit to flat and watery and definitly not an IPA, but all in all drinkable.

33cl bottle. The hoppy aroma’s aren’t accompanied by its malty taste: Odd for an IPA. But as a modest Belgian ale, one can appreciate the medium sweetness and light bitterness with long ending.

This brew is out of balance and not very pleasant. Some hops and some belgian malts but no consistency. How can this be called an IPA?

Bottle; Ale House Bottle Share. Thanks, Martin. Golden white lacing, raw honey and cedar on aroma. Some oxidisation is kreeping through. Good use of pilsner malt. A nice dry and biscuity finish. Good but not for me.

Bottle from Skjold Burne Vinhadel, CPH- glowing orange pour with decent sized white head. Aroma and taste is subdued citrus fruity and floral hoppy, lots of floral, flowery and grassy nuances going on, straw, some citric lemony notes, light malty. Pretty ok enjoyable easy going brew.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2015 750ml corked bottle served in a pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy orange color forming a creamy white head with medium retention and some lacings left in the glass. Nose is sweet fruity and herby. Notes of citrus hops. Hints of honey and Belgian bready yeasts. Slightly sweet upfront. Grapefruit, honey and sweet pale malts. Medium to low bitterness for an IPA. Heavy body. Medium carbonation. Beautiful bottle presentation. Not a bad Strong Belgian Ale but difficult to call it an IPA, even for the Belgian IPA standards.
