COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Heller, hopfig malziger Antrunk. 7/9/9/9/8/9

Small bottle of 33cl. The color is clear orange to copper with nice long lasting foam. Sweet aroma with fruits and lemon. Good carbonation, enjoyable bitterness, hops, malts, agressive warm and long aftertaste with alcohol. A very refreshing well balanced beer. Please pour it in it’s rightfull glass

33 cl. bottle @ the bungalow in Vencimont, bought @ Delhaize, Beauraing. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Grainy aroma with faint hops. Sweet IPA. This is no IPA, this is a sub par Belgian blonde.

Amber colour, two fingers head that fades leaving a crown and some lace. Smell is sweet, caramel, malts, dark fruits, hints of clove and tropical fruits. Medium body, creamy palate. Taste is also sweet, malts, chocolate, dark fruits, lemon and hints of tropical fruit and spices. Very good, but not what I expect frm an IPA.

33 cl bottle @ home. Hazy orange/amber beer with a nice thick beige head. Refreshing grassy citrus aroma. Sweet taste with soft bitter aftertaste, not entirely what you’d expect of an IPA, but very enjoyable.

Martin’s IPA 6.9% I first heard of this IPA from Belgium in the magazine Belgian Beer & Food. It pours a nice copper orange with a thick beige head that clings to the glass. The nose is interestingly lemon, earthy, malty caramel and has a sweet almost iced tea kind of character. Some boozy heat, a bready belgian malt/yeast quality while the warmth spreads out from my stomach. Really nice flavor: a bit boozey at first but you’ve got chewey sweet breadiness, lemon, plums, mild bitter pine. Delicious with a soft rounded carbonation and a pretty dry finish. A nice surprise.

Pours a cloudy yellow color with white head. Aroma of malt, earthy dirt and grass with fruity esters. Flavor is much the same.

Bottle from Barrique Odijk, BB 20.06.17, large sample. Almost clear amber color, medium rocky a off-white head with large foamy bubbles. Aroma is grassy, spicy yeast, bit floral and herbal, slight toffee. Soft sweet taste, tea, herbal, metallic. This shit is seriously bad. How on earth can they make this?
