Bottle, Alvo supermarket. 33cl. Pours clear orange. Dense head, bitter / metallic head. Yeasty nose, bit citric. Very spritzy, very drinkable, good bitter flavor. Lacks hoparoma, a good ale, but hardly an IPA. Nice artwork.

33 cl bottle @ Cambrinus, Bruges. BBE 25.07.2017. Aroma is mild with some grainy notes and hay. Also toffee. Foamy palate. Flavour starts with mellow hop kick and with nettles turns to toffee, some sticky malt and ripe fruits. Gets biscuity and malty at the end of the glass. Too sweet and bland. Not an IPA, not even in the British scale.

33cl bottle: BBD 20 Jun 17. Poured into a Palm badged bulbous glass at home on 20 Jun 15, two years before itís BBD. True amber body, smooth white foam blanket on top. Nice bitter hop balance with sweet maltiness in the mouth, the aroma fruity and slightly yeasty. I liked it.

Helaas liep het bier al uit het flesje bij openen wat ik altijd een kwalijke zaak vindt. Bier zelf heeft een mooie schuimkraag. Kleur is mooi troebel zoals je mag verwachten. Aroma is bloemig. Smaak is zeer zacht.

Appearance- tries to escape the bottle before pouring. Slightly hazy amber, carbonation, a one-two finger solid white head. Aroma- creamy malt, spice hints, some tropical fruit, pineapple, hop resin. Taste- mango, orange, pineapple, hop undertones, vague undertones of biscuity malt. Fruity finish. Lacking the hop bitterness youíd expect.

It says Belgiumís "Finest IPA"ģ on the label and you should definitely read those quotation marks as indicating of sarcasm because this beer has nothing whatsoever to do with IPA nor is it in any way fine. The list of ingredients says everything: Water, Malted barley, sugar, corn, barley, hops, yeast. Hops come in far behind sugar and corn which is why this beer tastes like a rotten lager. Completely undrinkable.

Ambar clara, un dedo de espuma. Malta y alcohol en el aroma. Malta y alcohol en el sabor. Frutos secos. Miel, y frutos secos y sobre todo tono alcohůilco. No sabe mal, pero no equilibrada.

Beautiful amber color with golden hue, strong soapy head. Quite aggressive though, bottle overflows after uncapping. A: white wine notes, oak, dried lime, faint pine notes, quinine. Yeast deposit reveals rosewater. T: starts with a metal / copper taste. Subsequent sips: slightly sour beginning, lemon. Hint of Speciale Belge, but fruitier. Bitter fruity development, faint boozy kick. Aftertaste is quite bitter. None of the typical fruity Ipa tastes or aromas are to be found in this one, despite the name.

[5/1/15] Bottle sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2015. Line for 1st session. Hazy golden. Sweetish, yeasty, bitterish, with some hops.

Color is amber, with a white head. Aroma of caramel and some herbal/floral accents. Honey and citrus accents are also present in the taste, but there is also a metallic aftertaste. Itís more like an extra hopped speciale belge, rather than an ipa though.
