Bottle from Abbots Ale House. Clear gold, very carbonated. Spicy, vegetable aroma. Kind of dry with obvious Belgian yeast and a slightly bitter finish.

Bottle from Dranken Verheyen, Poppel, Belgium. At 1,30e not expensive. This bottle is misleading. First and foremost, itís not an IPA at all. True enough, it is a good tasting beer. Taste is balanced. A tad of bitter hops at first, then a bit smoky, wood, banana, sweet with a nice after taste. Enjoyable. That being said, the bottle says; Belgiumís "Finest IPA", almost as if the brewer knew they had to put the Finest IPA between quotation marks. This is NOT an IPA, and any lover of hoppy, IBU-heavy beers will feel disappointed at the least. A lot of continental european brands tend to label their hoppy beers as just that; Hop, Triple-hop, cascade, Hop-it, you name it. Had Martinís done that, my rating would have been higher. This tastes like a Tripel with only a slight hint of what an IPA should be. Misleading, and therefore a 2.7. An enjoyable beer, but this is cheap marketing tactics, and I donít buy those.

I would call this a lager with IPA influence. Refreshing, but not special in taste.

Simple and uninteresting. Hard to call this an IPA like its called. Not to bad. But expected more.

Demasiado insulsa para una ipa, le falta un punto, y el resultado es que genera overpromise

From Hipercor. In Teku glass. After dinner. Easy drinking but not much in nose nor taste. Low bitterness for an IPA.

33cl bottle. There a lot of varieties in IPAís, maybe too many. I like this one, maybe because the taste isnít too hoppy!

Less appealing aroma Iíve ever smelt in an IPA. The inverted commas in íBelgiumís "Finest IPA"í pretty much sums it up. Just mix any industrial lager with a regular IPA in a proportion of 80/20 and there you got it. Even being relatively cheap, not worth it

Flaske 330ml fra Kjeller 5. Gyldenbrun. HÝyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Forsiktig fruktig aroma. Smaken brukbart fyldig. Bra balanse. MÝrke plommer. Litt mandler. Bra - men mangler variasjon.
