COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Who can ignore John Martin’s ale that our ancestors called "the noblest of English Pale Ales". This unique beer of 6% ABV is the fruit of truly exceptional craftsmanship, a unique technique whereby authentic Kent hop-bells are added after brewing.

Pale ale, well that is the stuff one sometimes has to go for. Hard though if ale is not really available close to you. As such a very appreciated substitute. A full amber colour. Ale direction taste. Develops a light sweet taste and leaves a soft caramel malt cover on your tongue. Noticable though that it is brewed in Belgium, nonetheless an ideal afterwork beer.

It was being a little unfair with this beer, since not much people talk about it. But it is really good, smells nice and the flavour is great. The beer is cloudy, and very spicy, but the backtaste is fast.

(Rating #358)

While this looks like an English brew, with the dark amber pour and syrupy presence, it actually tastes like it has been brewed in Belgium. So, if you would like to try a hyrid between, say, a Young’s Ramod and a Leffe Brune, I’d say you’d want this. There are caramel hints, very light hops presence manifested as cherries, a heavier than normal carbonation (for a Brit style), anda lot of grains. Think, "hybrid."

A very nice and balanced beer with a beautifull name. It has a very well composed smell and taste. The name of this beer is perfect ;-) and the labels is also very nice

Bright dark amber hue, with a frothy white head, with a fruity, apple note, floral hops, hint of cinnamon, caramelized malt aromas follow through on a medium-bodied palate with caramelized malt, nuty, biscuity note, fruity, sweet crystal malt, floral hops, leading towards a good lingering bitterness finish.

Brown-amber coloured with a white head. The aroma is hoppy and a bit malty. The taste is a malty, sweet and a bit hoppy. There is also caramel noticeable. (Bottle 33cl, 5.8 alcohol % in my version)
