Who can ignore John Martinís ale that our ancestors called "the noblest of English Pale Ales". This unique beer of 6% ABV is the fruit of truly exceptional craftsmanship, a unique technique whereby authentic Kent hop-bells are added after brewing.

A fast swelling firm head that captures a smooth nice aroma. Hoppy, but surprisingly sweet. A bit malty, but nothing apparent. Lots of flavor in a well balanced mix.

Brown-amber coloured with a white head. The aroma is hoppy and a bit malty. The taste is a malty, sweet and a bit hoppy. There is also caramel noticeable. (Bottle 33cl, 5.8 alcohol % in my version)

Pale ale, well that is the stuff one sometimes has to go for. Hard though if ale is not really available close to you. As such a very appreciated substitute. A full amber colour. Ale direction taste. Develops a light sweet taste and leaves a soft caramel malt cover on your tongue. Noticable though that it is brewed in Belgium, nonetheless an ideal afterwork beer.

Bottle @ "einde der beschaving" Gent. Pours golden bronze with a white head. Sticky bitter beer actually. Malty honey aromaís. Very nasal dry bitter. Tongue thinks otherwise as in more sticky and lively. A bit sweet and boring but not bad at all.

Tasted 2007-07-22. Fresh bottle, 33cl. Pours clear, yellow with light head. Notes of yest and hops. Not overwhelming, but nice and fresh. It comes off as a mix between pilsner and pale ale - a bit weak!

Goud/ koper kleurig bier. Weinig schuim. Aroma haal ik niet veel uit. Smaak is licht bitter en in de afdronk iets pittiger. Body is gemiddeld
