33cl. Nice copper color with a big white head. Aroma sweet, malty. Flavor is sweet, hoppy, grainy, light bitter in the end, moderate carbonation.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark amber colour, big head, soon disappearing. The aroma is quite fruity with floral traces. The taste is clean, pleasant, fruity (strawberry and plum), spicy, a bit sour. Good hoppy finish that gives to this beer the right bitterness.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
While this looks like an English brew, with the dark amber pour and syrupy presence, it actually tastes like it has been brewed in Belgium. So, if you would like to try a hyrid between, say, a Young’s Ramod and a Leffe Brune, I’d say you’d want this. There are caramel hints, very light hops presence manifested as cherries, a heavier than normal carbonation (for a Brit style), anda lot of grains. Think, "hybrid."

Nice colour, for this clear amber beer. Pleasant aromas of caramel, hops and spices. Alcohol taste is present. Oily texture, soft carbonation and long finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This Belgian version of an English Pale Ale has a hoppy and grainy smell. It pours clear brown with a big bubbly head. The complexity that you get in the aroma seems lost on the flavor as it has a hint of caramel on the lip but very little palate.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
In short, a beer that lives up to the commercial description. The look and smell are both very appealing, with a very sweet overtone. The flavor is fantasic, with a nice mix of honey and hops. The finish was somewhat bitter, but not unusal for this style. In the end this was enjoyable beer and no doubt fantastic off the tap. Cheers.
