(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a big and beige foamy head. Sweet, slightly molassy toast-malty aroma with caramel and a light hoppy shine in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with an almost crispy carbonation. Solid roasty malty base with caramel and light notes of liquorice And herbal hops; medium-dry, sweet and slightly bitter toasty malty finish with herbal and grassy hoppy notes. Quaffable, quite hoppy example of the style (08.05.08).

Bottle. Clear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, fruity, sweet malt, light yeasty, notes of dust. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (241207)

Bottled. Rather malty aroma with some hops. Brown color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, malty, well hopped, bitter, hop dry mouthfeel in the finish. Very interesting bock, malty like Andechser and a bitter bite.
