500ml bottle. Hazy deep golden to amber colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, white head. Wheaty, inrensely fruity, yeasty aroma, notes of banana, some pear, clove, a peppery spicy yeasty touch. Taste is wheaty, fruity, spicy yeasty, notes of banana, subtle sweetness, a minimally tart lemon touch, herbal hoppy overtones. Really good.

500ml Flasche. Trübes goldgelbes Bier mit schöner cremigen Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig nach Banane, minimal würzig.

Erzengel (4716) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JAN 12, 2014
--> Leckeres, süffig-erfrischendes Weizen.

It’s unclear golden with a white, creamy head. The aroma has notes of mild yeast, fruit and wheat. The sweet flavor has notes of mild yeast, wheat and fruit, and the finish is slightly spicy. I would have preferred more character.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow, offwhite creamy head. Dry spicy aroma. Medium body, chewy, dry creamy mouthfeel. Light apples and banana, almonds, broad spicyness, vanilla in the finish. Pleasnt cake weizen.

Bottle (@toom, Marktheidenfeld):Foggy, golden to orangey coloured, big and stable creamy off-white head, yeasty-bisquity nose, delicate tartness and fruitiness (raspberries) detectable plus traces of hops(!); moderate sweet-sourish flavour, almost medium bodied and soft, creamy MF; sourish-sweet finish with distinctive fruity traces. A real good Weizen...

Misty golden with a white, creamy film. Spicy, clove and light malty nose. Light acidic, light sweet flavors with a spicy edge.

Bottled. Hazy goldeny orange colour with a big fluffy/foamy white head, that leaves good lace. Aroma is banana, some wheat, yeast, spices and mild herbal notes. Flavour is banana, sweet wheaty notes, yeast, spices and some slight toffee and herbs as well. Pleasantly balanced, but rather standard Weizen.

500ml bottle (Helsinki Beer Festival 2011)
6 Fruit esters and bready aroma, very bready.
4 Mid cloudy orange, small head.
6 Starts slowly, but after a few sips this is bang on - so much breadiness in the taste too. Classic hefe.
4 Smooth full palate, gentle carbonation. Finish also improves as it warms - hops come out more, and it generally just fills out.
14 Nothing particularly wows, but this is so solid you’ve got to like it.
