Dark golden body with a medium sized off-white head and soapy lacing. Assertive floral and citric hop notes, gentle caramel and pale malt base that largely stays out of the way. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, assertive bitterness and a semi-dry finish. Solid.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub in Altoona. Pours a hazy orange brown with a thick light tan head. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus, pale malts. Flavor of grassy hops, hop spices, floral hops, caramel malt. Lighter IPA than expected given the abv with lots of spices and interesting complexity. Good IPA, not as "in your face" as some IPAs.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Wow, canít believe this beer has such a high rating. I had this at a brewfest yesterday and it was one of the worst beers there (and Iím a huge IPA fan). Too earthy with soapy, grassy, and other confusing things going on in the palate. Maybe Iíll give it a chance another time when Iím drinking a bunch of different styles.
