| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 18, 2009 Sample at the brewpub. Clear amber pour with a medium beige head. Citrusy hop aroma with some malt. Trying to nail down the hop and ruling out Centennial due to the lack of pine and Amarillo because it’s not quite so orangey. Guessing Columbus here. Flavor is citrusy and spicy (like a C-bus and Simcoe blend) with a bit of malt before a lasting bitter hop finish. Good stuff! taffurs888 (121), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Light mahogany color, orange/red hues. Ruby grapefruit, tangerine, grass on the nose. Malty hoppy flavor of biting grapefruit, grassy hop. Flowy smooth mouthfeel. With a tangy hop aftertaste. Most enjoyable beer I’ve found at this brewery. Snoop59 (72), Penn Run, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 17, 2008 Growler. Pours a medium amber-brown with a foamy off-white head that diminished quickly. Virtually no lacing.
A great hoppy aroma of grapefruit and pine. Taste of bitter grapefruit with a nice balance of sweet malt. Soft carbonation. Light to medium body with an average finish. Definitely a geat IPA. Naka (525), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 15, 2008 Sampled from a growler. Pours a deep amber color with a fizzy white head. The aroma has a lot of grapefruit, dank nuggs, and a little resiny character. The flavor is a sweet brown sugar with a ton of bitter, but beautifully balanced. Thick and delicious. Such a quality IPA in this hop shortage. Delicious. doubleipa (224), Georgia, USA

That’s the only conclusion I can come to when I see these other ratings. On tap- nice piney nose....and then.....hops run amuck, and not in a good way. Couldn’t even finish it, too much better beer around. roder60 (1020), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
