On tap at the brewpub in Altoona. Pours a hazy orange brown with a thick light tan head. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus, pale malts. Flavor of grassy hops, hop spices, floral hops, caramel malt. Lighter IPA than expected given the abv with lots of spices and interesting complexity. Good IPA, not as "in your face" as some IPAs. 8/4/8/4/14 (3.8/5)

Wow, canít believe this beer has such a high rating. I had this at a brewfest yesterday and it was one of the worst beers there (and Iím a huge IPA fan). Too earthy with soapy, grassy, and other confusing things going on in the palate. Maybe Iíll give it a chance another time when Iím drinking a bunch of different styles.

Draft. Pours amber with a slight red tint and a thin white head; decent retention and spare lacing. Aroma is dominated by floral and grassy hops with a hint of toffee. Flavor is light sweet malt, heavy floral and grassy hops, and light pear esters. Medium body, carbonation, and warmth.

Tap. Pours clear amber with a medium, creamy off-white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is herbal, grassy and dank hops, tropical fruity esters, caramel and light toast malt. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, supporting malt and fruity esters with a dry finish. Medium body, warmth and carbonation.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy, deeper orange, amber tinted body with a finger-width, dense, creamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is big on the pineapple and citrusy oranges. Surprisingly big on the fresh citrus hops, actually. Some pines and florals with a light caramel sweetness to balance. Flavor is similar. Lots of citrus pineapples and oranges with a good mixture of pines and florals. A light caramel behind the citruses with a few resins towards the end. Finishes with a medium-light bitterness following a medium-light body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid brewpub IPA. A pleasant surprise with lots of citrus flroals in the aroma and flavor with a decent bitterness. Nice beer.

Pours dark amber from tap with a quarter inch of white foam. Some floral notes on the nose. Grapefruit on the tongue but without much bitterness. Well done!

Deep amber pour and a sticky white head. The nose is lightly hoppy. Sort of sweet and lightly caramelly. Quite a bit too sweet for my tastes. Soft herbal hoppiness with a little bit of light resinousness. A sort of off flavour that I canít quite put my hands on Ė maybe some vegetal hop matter. Meh.
