From growler. Roasted barley and chocolate malt tang, with light Belgian yeast notes. Light licorice and carbonic tang, with a subtle spicy character. Dark brown opaque, a little cloudy, with thin light-tan and quickly dissipating head. Medium to light in body with medium carbonation. Starts with chocolate malt, roasted barley, and acidic tang. Very light malty sweetness with some brown sugar and a hint of licorice. Watery finish with a bit of yeasty character. Smooth nutty finish, not bitter at all. Light clean after.
