A mix between an American Brown Ale and a German Doppelbock, this beer is mildly hoppy and roasty but with a smooth clean finish from its extensive lagering.

On tap at the brewpub. Malty sweet aroma. Nutty with chocolate and dusty grain. Brown sugar and very little hops. Clean sweet nose overall. Hazy coppery amber with thin foamy off-white lacing head. Medium-heavy body with medium carbonation. Starts and stays sweet with tons of malty flavor, brown sugar and caramel, grain, and chocolate malt. Nutty with alcoholic sweetness and a touch of banana and other esters. Get distinctive brown ale character and doppelbock, too. The merged well. Sweet finish with a bit of nutty bitterness. Sweet after.
