mtoast (283), City of Rust, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 27, 2007 On tap 10/25/07 as part of a sampler rack. Bright gold color, white foam, low retention and lacing. Nice noble hop aroma with some bready malt notes also. Very solid maltbase with perfect amount of bittering. Very surprised by this beer, though it would be the worst of the lineup. Nate (2234), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 14, 2004 Light hop aroma with no malt in the nose. Light white lacing head over light medium gold clear. Medium watery palate with medium-light carbonation. Starts with a light bitterness and some sweetness, normal acidity for pale lager. Finish is mild acidic bitter with clean aftertaste. A nice light lager at 3.7%, well hopped and very drinkable. DocLock (4085), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 6, 2005 A nice surprise as a light beer, and a solid offering. Gold pour, with aroma ans taste of hopcit, bready malt, and some honey as it finishes. A very good light beer, in fact, this one is in my upper pantheon of light beers. Linus_Stick (1521), Moon Township, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 24, 2007 On tap at Marzonis in Allison Park called 3 Rivers Gold. This is a very good pale lager. Much more taste than most out there. If there were going to bottle this should be one. Pour was a light gold with a one finger white head. Aroma was decent...a nice light malt tinge. Flavor was typical of a pale lager but a very pronounced hop aftertaste. Almost like a pilsener. Nice. illinismitty (1409), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Mar 1, 2008 Draft at Allison Park under the alias "Three Rivers Gold." Pours gold with no head. Typical pale lager aroma. Flavor of toasted malts and corn/rice adjucts that is countered by a detectable european leafy hop bitterness. I detected some sort of off flavor that I could not put my finger on.
