3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at the brewpub. Pours brass color with sticky off-white head. The aroma is some citrus and pine, with lots of bark and earth. Flavor is sweet and fruity, maybe some nectarine, and a toasty malt backbone. Bitterness is mild, but dries out more in the finish with some earthy hops.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught @ Brewpub. This one pours a cloudy amber color, without much of a head. There was no lacing to speak of. It has a milder aroma. Mainly notes of some malt and some hops. It was somewhat grapefruity, but not very strong. The taste is decent enough. It has a medium malt boy, with a somewhat bitter taste. It has a good balance and is fairly smooth. A touch dry in the finish. A good drinker.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2008 If you like IPA, ignore my numbers. On tap at the Marzoniís in Allison Park. Here it is called North Park Pale Ale for the locals. Brownish amber color but quite reddish. Looks somewhat like the Marzoniís Amber Lager. No head. Has a hoppy floral aroma that makes me think right off the bat it should be an IPA. Big hop impact on the taste buds, got to be an IPA. Hops, hops and more hops. Coats the mouth with that bitter sensation. The flavor of ground up grapefruit rinds prevails. There is an earthly hint hidden deep down within this brew. Some slight creamy carbonation. Finish is medium high lingering medicinal bitter qualities. A little too much for an APA IMHO.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JAN 10, 2011 Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a caramel amber color with a khaki head. The aroma is strong piney and fruity hops. The flavor was bitter, piney and had a strong grapefruit element. There is a nice underlying malty sweetness. There is a long bitter grapefruit. Rather one dimensional but enjoyable.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber via Bill. The beer pours to a clean bright glowing orange body with a nice creamy white head and nice lacing. The aroma is piney limes and has lots of pale malts. The flavor is piney, resiny, and finishes very toasty. The palate has a dry bready but moderate mouthfeel to it. Nicely carbonated.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear dark amber body under a resilient frothy off-white head. Smells like lime oil Vickís Vap-O-Rub over dusty crystal malt. Lots more of that effervescent, oily hopping in the flavor, itís a lime pine thing. Thatís over gently toasted pale and crystal malt. Long-lasting resinous pine finish. Good APA - lots of interesting hop character to dig into.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear coppery body, off-white creamy head with good retention. Sweet odd/delicate hopping. Sort of a sweet clovery or herbal hop. Not sure what it is but it is nice. Light feet aroma too; maybe old hops? Taste is moderately interesting but light. Bitterness kicks in in the end. Okay overall, maybe the hops could be fresher or brighter.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at the brewery. Cloudy, unfiltered sharp orange color, bright in appearance. Mild sugary hop nose, with a decent amount of yeast esters as well. Flavor is light, body is moderately frothy, just tastes pale and empty, I guess, especially up front. Most of the flavor is in the finish. Bitterness is decent for an APA, most of the flavor being from the yeast, sorta tastes like a homebrew, actually. Malty and chewy, with more bittering than flavor from the hops. Still, overall itís fresh-tasting and refreshing, but common.
