rich malt flavor, nice fruity orange character, light sweetness from the fruit is balanced by an array of spicyness leading to a spicy and light bitter finish,

Aug 31, 2007 Draft at Altoona location. Golden color. Spicy malt nose. Coriander, perfumy something. Interesting spicy/malty flavor. Tasty. I’d have it again.

Aug 28, 2007 Updated: Dec 31, 2007On tap at the rte 8 location in PGH. Slight spice aroma. Barely cloudy and just barely darker than a ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. Comes on like an american wheat. Good tingly carbonation. Fun and interesting. Straw, hay and farm field flavors are prevalent. Has some mild bitterness that builds on the back of the palate during the session. Finish is short but that mild bitterness hangs for a while after the session is complete.

Aug 21, 2006 Draught at the brewery. Almost clear appearance, with a pale yellow body. Lightly spiced fruit cocktail and pineapple and coriander nose. Light flavors up front, then more spicy and fruity, spritzy, light on the tongue, but refreshing. Most of the flavor is noticed in the finish, with a medium dryness level. Interesting attempt at saison, but not a proper example.
