COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional hefeweizen, Whest Coast Wheat is only partly filtered for more flavour and a lovely "just cloudy" appearance. An authentic German yeast strain delivers a beer with hints of banana, vanilla and spice coupled with a smooth body and a dry, tasty finish. Silver at AIBA 2007.
Note: Formerly called Haze, at 4.8%.

Bottle at Young&Jackson. Nicely balanced wheat beer. Aromas of citrus, caramel, spice, and banana. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and average length. Palate is velvety, with a thin-to-medium body. Yellow, cloudy, with a thin head.

Very hoppy malt aroma. Murky yellow colour with good head and lacing. Sweet floral malt flavour. Smooth palate.

Part of the sampler tray at the brewery. Hazy honey gold, almost no head. Quite an estery nose with some faint banana. Fruity zesty palate, with more of a lemony character. More like a simple wheat than a true hefe, but not bad.

Pale, dull, almost hazy, yellow body with a poor head. Not a lot but some banana and orange in the taste. Almost medium body, smooth mouthfeel and a fairly long finish.
