Jun 12, 2007 on tap-pours an off white head and copper color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel, cinnamon? Taste is medium malt-caramel, spices, nutty, secondary hops. OK carbonation.

Jan 29, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear brown color with thin off white head. Nutty aroma and flavor with a hint of chocolate, caramel, and amaretto. Decent brown ale.

Mar 4, 2004 Reddish brown with a small frothy head and minimal lace. The aroma hints of hazelnuts and cashews, floral and grassy hops, caramel and toffee. The taste starts with a lively crisp hop note and a sweet nutty undertone. A slightly lactic sourness in present midway through tasting but not too aggressive. The finish is mild malt and hops. Thin-bodied with a fizzy mouthfeel. Good quaffable session beer.
