Sample at brewpub. Very strong raspberry aroma. A litlte much on the fizz/carbonation as it reminded me too much of a fruit soda. Slightly watery for a porter.

Draught sample at the brewpub. Whoah this is a scary bugger....very, very clear...pink? No head either. Hmmm, porter? Worst appearance, or at least the most inappropriate one, I can remember. Thankfully, it gets better: the nose is actually quite malty, fresly fruity with berry sweetness and a touch of tart acidity, and even a bit of porter roastiness....the robust, toasty and burnt malts interact very strangely with the fruity acids and sugars, with a very very biscuity maltiness that really dries out the beer, much more than most fruit beers, towards the finish....too thin and watery, finally, and not a real success; but very interesting and worth a try.

Draught at the brewpub. Dark brown with tan head. Nutty, roasty nose with raspberries. Nice mix of rapsberry and roasty chocolate flavor. I like the combo.

On tap at the brewery. The porter is good to begin with, and the raspberry mixes well with it. Not too much raspberry flavor, allows the true character of the beer to stand out.
