On tap in Hradec Kralove. Pours deep brown with a generous creamy tan head.Strong malty caramel aroma. Taste is overwhelmed by all the malty sweetness, alcohol coming thru at the end, sweet aftertaste, not any good at all.

Amber pour with a huge creamy head that hangs around for a while. Aroma of copper and caramel. Mouth is thin. Overall this is pretty one note but much more complex than all the Pilseners in this area of CZ.

on tap at na parkanu and at zach’s pub. a pretty average vienna really, mild nutty nose, slightly citric bitterness, quite boring. this is what beer designed by a committee tastes like.

Draught at Na Parkanu, Plzen.
Pale amber coloured, small off white head, light caramel nose. A way too sweet malty, caramelly and light fruity taste with touch of alcohol in the finish. Easy going but one dimensional beer.

On tap. Need to say the place asked for a belgian dubbel and they were given this one by the distributor...this is the kind of beer culture we have in Spain. Some malty aromas. Pours amber, a bit hazy, with nice offwhite head, creamy, vanishing. Light body, average carbonation. Taste is sweet, malty, some spicy. Lacks some more body.

17/01 0.33 l bottle brought from Czech Rep. It poured dark golden, reddish hued body with medium sized head. Caramel aroma, touched with hops. Bitter flavor, dominated by grass and hay hops with sweet caramel and overripe fruit malt being there as well, giving an alcoholic feel. Medium bodied with sharp, almost unpleasant flavor, and alcoholic as well, no matter of such low ABV. Couldn’t like it too much.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 KyotoLefty (4725) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 25, 2010
Bottle in my hotel room in Prague. Nutty, caramel aroma. Pale amber color. Minerally, watery flavor with some caramel and a slightly dry finish. Rather useless, really.
