2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle conditioned, 500ml at West Country Ales, Cheddar, Somerset. Gold with white head. Quite a sharp, perfumed beer, slightly tartish fruit also fairly thin on the palate. Some toffee, caramel. Not too good unfortunately.

Tap at Pig’s Ear 2012. A cloudy brown orange colour. Toffee aroma, an earthy hop bitterness, slightly fruity, a bit musty. Didn’t quite get the coffee. Not quite tiptop condition maybe? I found this a little hard work. Interesting, but not really my thing.
