Cask; Status uncertain.
A wonderful four malt bitter with biscuit and floral notes leading to a smooth and bitter finish, a first class session bitter.

Cask (gravity dispense) at St Albans Beer Festival, September 2006. Mid copper colour. Limited aroma with just a touch of dry malt and earthy hop. Much the same on the palate, although the flavours are a little more distinct than the aroma. Smooth mouthfeel. A quite restrained best bitter. Drinks OK but seemed a touch underpowered to me.

Cask@St Albans BF 06. Some sweet toffee/caramel malt notes, some citric hop notes. Fairly average in the end, drinkable, but unremarkable.
