Bottle 75cl brought back from Italy by Alain thanks. A dark beer with low head and yeast floating. Nose is low on the chocolate side, aroma is on chocolate, yeast, vegetables, some astringency, some bitterness, beans touch (more easy to know once translating the label information). Body is dry with roasted notes and astringency, tannic finish, light acrid notes.

Bottle at the Viila Market Ambasssador, Bangkok. Poured a murky medium brown with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, sweet malt, floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet with a dry, mineral, yeasty, floral medicinal hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Pretty good kit. Hard to get a read on the flavours; some mild chocolate sweetness, savoury tang; hangs together well. A good beer in Phuket beer wasteland. (Villa Market 150 baht).

The beer pours a nice thick layer of soft foam. The color of the foam is white, with a brown gray hint. The bulk of the foam collapse quickly, but a nice layer of soft foam stays to cover the foam. The beer has a beautiful color. The color is a mix between ruby red and amber. The beer has a beautiful orange glow. The beer is quite clear, but some yeast and protein flakes are floating in the beer. The beer has a beautiful smell. The first thing I think of is a beautifully aged wine. This idea comes from the little sour aroma the beer has. The beer also has a almondy alcohol aroma. This is very nice. I also sense a bitter beer smell, a little hoppy. The beer also has a deep dark fruitiness on the background, red fruits mostly. The taste is even better than the taste. The beer has a very pleasant mouth sensation, tingly and yet soft. The taste doesn’t contain the source aged whine taste, maybe in the distance a little bit. The taste is way different from the smell. There is a nice little roasted barley taste, which is really nice. This gives a nice sweet bitterness. The taste also contain flavors of chocolate, coffee and caramel. It is delicious. There is also a nice fruitiness. There is some red fruit. The finish is very tasty. It contains a delicious roasted barley aroma, together with the tastes of chocolate, coffee and caramel. Especially the chocolate is present in the finish. This beer is truly a unique beer. It has fruitiness and a bitter maltyness and roast. Great.

Bottle 0,75l. A bit cloudy, dark red/brown colored beer. Aroma of sweet red fruit, cherries, caramel, toasted malt, chocolate and some cooked vegetable. Slightly sweet and slightly fruity sour flavor, red fruit, dates, prunes, caramel, chocolate, moderately bitter, full bodied, a bit syrupy.
Huge, fruity, tasty ale.
