COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

500 ml. bottle. Clear amber solour, no head at all. Smell of molasses, fruits, spices and I’d swear I detect some hints of tobacco. Light body, too sweet palate with a very weak carbonation. Taste of dark fruits, molasses and the hint of tobacco. Another Mateo & Bernabé beer that does not worth the price you pay., IMO.

37,5 cl bottle @ Sankt Hans Tasting, Ulfborg 05/2016
Aroma has toffeeish malt, some caramel and cereal. Also some gooseberry bush leaves. Feels mild. Flavour has toffee, some tartish berry tones and roastiness. Mild and mellow all the way, feels like a watery dunkel.

500ml bottle. This one is epic, nice nutmeg and vanilla flavors, tastes like a sort of vanilla nutmeg flan.

Bottle. Pours a very dark orange-gold with a lot of visible carbonation and almost no head. Nose is sweet orange, spice, and floral notes. More orange on the tongue, as well as nutmeg and cinnamon -- there’s also some candied sugar, phenols, and a little bit of an off medicinal note. Finish is long, warm, and has a lot of citrus -- the peppercorn heat really comes to the forefront here, and it wakes things up nicely. Interesting, though it’s got its weak spots.

Poured a heinous murky rust with no head at all. I’m thinking this didn’t travel well or was mishandled by the distro. Very muted flavours, nothing like the description.
