500ml plastic bottle from Aldi. Dark straw with a thick short-lasting white head; sour malt aroma; sweet and malty, rather watery; but a reasonably bitter finish. Cheap and cheerful.

Bottle. Small head with short duration. Color is slightly hazy and pale golden. Aroma and taste are mainly malt. A bit sour too.

Plastic. Light yellow with white fiminishing head. Aroma of vinegar and bubble gum. Flavor primarily acid and water. Very short finish.

Plasticbottle. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Ugly yellow colour. Bad bready aroma and flavor. Light bitter short finish. Exstremely watery palate.

Bottle. Clear golden colour with a medium mostly diminishing white head. Aroma and taste of malts with hoppy hints. Below german standard pilsener, but cheap.

(screw-top plastic bottle) Pale golden colour with a medium fast diminishing white head. Sweet malty aroma, light to medium body, light sweet flavour. Initially malty with a light bitter and thin finish. Not as bad as most other “Gold Lagers” that overstock the german beer market nowadays. Except for samples to rate, I normally boycott all beer sold in plastic bottles.

(Bottle 50 cl) Bought in Aldi in Germany, they may have different contractors for their Maternus brand? Fully golden with a huge head. Full-bodied, good malty feel and a very hoppy finish. Typical German in style. 271099

Comes like the Premium Pils in a terrible plastic bottle on which a three year old tried some scrapping. Golden medium head, liveley carbonation. Sulphury nose - light. Thin and watery grassy taste. Maybe the three year old was for little lions.

Chemical artificial nose, pale gold, tall fluffy head. Watery sweetish malt with some grassy bitterness at the end. Thin and weak. Pretty bad stuff.
