Die Aromen sind Goldbier-typisch nicht gerade stark ausgeprägt, doch wundert mich bei diesem Billigbier ein tatsächlich vorhandenes, für Goldbier überraschend starkers herbes Aroma, welches den Mittelteil bestimmt. Im Abgang ist es auch noch zu schmecken, außerdem schmeckt es dort leicht dumpf. Maternus überrascht mich ein zweites Mal.

Clear light to medium yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is light moderate malty, sweet malt, keller, light vegetables and cardboard. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a average duration, keller, sweet malt. Body is light medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130104]

Clear yellow body, white head. Aroma is urinal, grass and burned malt. Flavour has plastic, cardboard, wet malt. Pretty bad.

50 cL plastic bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small to fully gone head. Aroma is dry toasted malty and caramelish. Bitter and toasted. Dry malty and breadish.

(Bottle). Damn! Unpleasant smell of acidic urine, diacetyl, butterscotch,
wet grass and malt. Strange taste of grainy malt, some citrus and grassy hops with a dry and rough bitterness in the finish. Completely undrinkable!
