The plastic screw-top bottle was a bad omen going into this, but it turned out not as bad as I though...which isn’t saying much because I was expecting the bottom of the barrel. It wasn’t. But it was close. Light lager nose, pale gold color, fizzy head. Weak, sweet malt taste. Thin and watery body. No real bad bad qualities, but this is still a pretty crappy beer.

Like my last rating, another cheapy from Aldi. Darkened plastic bottle with a plastic screw top, marked 04/11/12. Nose is unusually sweet with woodsy tones. Pale, clear golden body with a soapy bright white head. Taste is sweet but not too much, floral touch with faint dough, but the malt is rough and plain, scraped against a metal rod, perhaps. No real bitterness or life.Medium body is flattish and the aftertaste isn’t particularly appealing.

0.5l plastic bottle courtesy of and shared with the Kristiansandsmafia.This is a clear golden beer with a small white bubbly sidesticking head. I get soft tones of butterscotch and caramel in the aroma, esters and it’s also light fruity. Has a average carbonation level and a oily to watery texture in the mouth. Flavors of corn and grains and it feels light drymouthing. It’s also unnatural sweet. Still, quite easy drinking, but boring. 30.03.2012

Bottle, 4,9%. Clear pale golden with small white head. Aroma is malt, hops, grainy and straw. Flavour is malt, hops, little grainy, little sweet, little bitter and watery.

Plastic bottle. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Aroma butter, malt, some fruitiness and grains. Flavor is sweet and grassy with some butter. Medium to thin body, average carbonation.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain and grassy hops. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 50cl PET with plastic screw cap. A clear one, golden in color and with a finger-thick white head. Diacetyl, toffee and a fruity touch in the aroma. Luckily the diacetyl slowly diminishes. Some diacetyl, and a touch of dms in the flavor. Fruityness and a touch of bitterness chimes in, but it should have been more bitter both initially and in the end. 120330

Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma is malt, DMS and grass. Flavour is malt, straw, hay, DMS and grass.

PET Bottle (thanks Papsoe!). Yellowish golden colour, white head. Aroma is mild honey, hay, some grass and papery notes. Flavour is hay, grains, grass and some mild honey and mild buttery and herbal notes.

Golden color, good white head, lace. Herbal sticky aroma. Light to medium bodied. Herbal, buttery and grassy flavor. Harsh and bulkish.
