A - Pours a clear red-orange with a finger of frothy, slightly pinkish head. The head fades down fairly quickly leaving behind some nice lacing. S - Aroma is a mix of sweet caramel malts, yerba mate, hibiscus, bay leaf, other spices, lemon zest, and a bit of other fruity esters. T - Starts off with a mix of sweet caramel malts with some hibiscus, lemon zest, and yerba mate. Through the middle, some bay leaf and other spices some through with some more herbs and a bit of honey. The finish is a mix of sweet bready malts, hibiscus, yerba mate, lemon zest, spices, and some fruity esters. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a sweet and herby finish. D - Very drinkable. Nice balanced beed. The herbs and yerba add some nice complexity without being overpowered.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a faintly hazed amber with a thin white head. Floral and herbal on the nose. Medium-bodied, soft floral and herbal notes. Herbal woody bitterness into the finish.

Tap at the Polk station brewery tap. Nice translucent pinky orange coloured pour with a lasting off white pink head. Aroma is huge in your face pink peppercorn, spices, curry, spicy hibiscus. Too much for me. Flavour is composed of mellow spices, berry, peppercorn, hibiscus, biscuity malts, slight grape note in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, frothy carbonation, spicy finish. Little lingering tangy fruit, peppercorn. Better than the aroma.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear golden orange color with an off white head. The aroma has lots of herbals and background hints of caramel and fruit. Bay leaf, flowers, caramel apple, pear and ginger. Very cool. The flavor is nice with low bitterness, apple, pear, ginger and leafy tea-like herbals. A hint of caramel and bread. Very well balanced without the astringency that I get from other aggressive gruits. One of the best Ive had of the style.

Sampled at Great American Beer Festival 9/24/15. Aroma of herbs, wood, leaves, floral notes, tea and light spice. The flavor adds light fruity, vinous notes and a light bitterness. Interesting brew!

Bottle from Aggie Liquors. Pinkish red and slightly hazy with minimal head and no lacing. The aroma is tea, floral earthiness, honey, herbs, spices and bready malts. Similar flavor with a pretty light body. Pretty interesting.

Red hued golden fine white foam floral rosy, slightly sulfitic, but still a very pleasant aroma, could be the glass? Spritzy feel , enjoying the bit of boost. This is good.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours pink-tinged gold, big white head. Aromas are hard to place, floral and wheat. Then someone said Clamato and it was game over. Disappointing,

Cloudy firm pink with the most ridiculous head - foamy tight bubbled white but it sounds like Snap Crackle Pop - I realise "sound" isn’t quite "appearance" but that’s tremendous. As for the rest, tinny bitter tea. A wee bit fruity in the middle. Light tomato-y veg vibe. Carbonation is greasy/grubby fizz. Finshes clottingly sweet bitter.

Bottle, Let’s Go Digita Tasting, Cheers all My Vinyk/b>
