Bottle. A reddish orange color with no head. A strong herbal aroma with light fruits. A smooth flavor and easy drinking. Started drinking this in the late evening and did not realize there was caffeine in it. Can you counter this with a big barleywine?

Geruch ingwerartig, süß, säuerlich-frisch, Limonade. Süß-säuerlicher Auftakt. Mitte Kräuter, teeartig (kalter Zitronentee oder Earl Grey), angenehm zusammengestellt. Floral-hefig-säuerlich im Abschluß. Ungewöhnlich, aber gut trinkbar.

5000 (4113) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Bottle:   Amberish with an assertive pink hue, moderate fizzy off-white head, dies quickly leaving little lacing.   Spicy floral nose, hibiscus I imagine.   Smells entertaining at least, and very different.   Soft on the tongue, mild floral spices, hibuscus, and now the bay leaves come out.   It ends too quickly, wished it would linger a bit more.   Could be because the body is light to moderate.   Very light spritzy feeling on the exit.   The spices fade away softly, leaving a somewhat weird faint cough syrup sort of flavor.   Despite that, I enjoyed this one.   It was very different and a breath of fresh air.
