Pours a golden color with a moderate head that fades to bits of lacing. Aroma of mild hops with a bit of malt sweetness and fresh grain. Taste of citrus, some malt sweetness and fresh grain. Taste has a nice bit of hops, mild malty sweetness with some grain and hint of fruit. Nice bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly moderate body, crisp smooth and refreshing. Nice take on the style. Better than I expected.

Aroma weak, but with some slight malty notes, not great though. Appearance is a golden-yellow colour, completely transparent with a white head that disappears rather quickly. Taste is bland, weak and not very malty, just bitter really. Same goes for palate, boring. overall, pretty boring.

Bottle- a good version of traditional style pilsner beer. Slight hop aroma. Well balanced, with a crisp and refreshing hop bitterness finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Davros (1484) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - AUG 5, 2011
Pours amber with a large, fading head. Nose shows soft spicy and floral hops with bready malt underneath. Flavours focus on the malt with more sweet bready characters and a bit of caramel. Could use some bitterness. Carbonation is a bit full on. Pretty decent and to style, apart from the unchallenged malty sweetness.

(bottle) Straw coloured lager. Citrusy/spicy hop aroma and flavour (out of style IMO..) mouthfeel is quite chewy for a BoPils. Not a bad beer but this beer is only "Bohemian" in that it doesn’t conform to expectations. Was expecting something a little closer to a Czech-style pilsener.

De botella. Clear golden colour, white ehad. Aroma has fruitish hops and malt with grass. Ok mouthfeel. Fruity hoppiness and malt in the flavour, grass, bit citrus like. Pleasant.

345ml bottle (now with a red label). Clear gold body with a small lasting white head. Nose is quite hoppy with citrus elements and honey malts. Palate is clean and light-medium bodied with a moderately sweet malt backbone before the hop bitterness takes hold. A good Czech-style pilsner but the James Squire version is better in my opinion.
