3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
345ml bottle. Lives up to its golden name with a clear golden amber colour and a white head that laces the glass. Quite clear in the glass with some rockmelon and peach aromas. Easy drinking lager but nothing to get too excited about.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Poured watery clear orange, thin short lasting head. Passionfruit dominates tropical fruit aroma. Clean bitterness (nail polish remover?), continues through to finish. Thin bodied, well carbonated mouth-feel. Overall, think they just created a beer for the clever name.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Crisp, fresh taste, light but not watery. Would make an ideal summer beer, light on the palate, easy to drink. Recommended.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught at The Empire, Fortitude valley, Brisbane. Poured a clear yellow gold colour with a thin white bubbly head that diminished quickly. Lacing was reasonably good to begin with but disappeared by part way through the glass. Low, if any, carbonation. Aroma malt sweetness but overall very subtle. Taste is subtly of semi-sweet malt initially but this fades quickly to a slight hops flavour. Light body. A smooth, crisp, light finish with a mild hops bitterness. OK but not spectacular.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Gold amber appearance with thin white head. Citrus aroma which follows through to the palate. Finish is quite short which is a shame. Ok hot weather seasonal beer which is probably the aim. Nothing to memorable about this one

2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Appearance: bright yellow-gold with average head. Reasonable lacing.
Aroma: hints of citrus and grassy hops.
Taste: some light malt aspects, and a bit of citrus. Lots of sour and grassy flavours. "trademark" Australian macro metallic twang (almost verging on bad-homebrew flavour).
Mouthfeel: Medium-low carbonation, low body, a bit astringent.
Drinkability: Not. This actually tastes worse than XXXX or VB, not sure how they managed it!
