Bottle, Perth, WA
Looks soon to retire this beer, as the local brewery winds up.
crisp and with a real hop aroma and faint flavour, far better than most other Aussie full strengh lagers, unfortunalty totally forgotten by both fosters and the public.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Moderate, unremarkable Australian pilsener. Pale gold colour, lasting short head. Some apples in a generally dry hoppy aroma. Creamy mouthfeel, bit of fruit on the tongue and a light bitter finish. (Bottle)

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
This beer is hard to find..especially fresh. When I have had a chance to give it a go it delivers a great pilsener taste. A clean well put together beer. Nice aroma with a balanced finish.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: FEB 23, 2004 Nice aromas, predominantly zesty/sweet floral smelling hops and honey/caramel accented malt.
Light golden with low to medium carbonation and small but nice head.
Honey and slightly malty flavours predominant with hints of floral hops.
Light but not too thin body with slight bitterness.
Overall this is a very drinkable variation of the pilsner, well balanced flavours and aromas, one of my favourite pilsners and a great summer session beer, highly recommended.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very clear with little head retention. Aroma is clean and lightly malty. Lots of hop flavour balanced by a very nice malt character. Not overly complex or anything but I could drink a *lot* of these. Why does it rate so low?

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tried it many times out of the tap, beautiful drop, so I went the stubbie this time.
Sweet hop aroma, pours out golden, clean, smallish head. Nothing outstanding so far. Such a good flavour though. A very solid pilsner. Full body taste, sweet and crisp yet with a hint of hop bitterness. Definately one of Australia's finest. Tap or bottle.
