COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Matsoís Mango Beer is based on a classic Belgian Blonde recipe using a 100% natural mango fruit blend. An easy drinking beer with excellent fruit aroma and balancing dry sweetness.

Not a bad beer for a hot sunny afternoon. Nice appearance and aroma of mango is interesting. Flavour and taste is more mango, very sweet. Easily drinkable.

Bottle bought in Brisbane, August 2014. Clear pale golden with a small head. Sweet with quite a lot of mango both in the aroma and taste. Drinkable but weak.

Strong mango aroma. Pale yellow colour with poor head. Very strong mango flavour with crisp refreshing finish. Light body with high carbonation.

Bottle. Light gold, clear, poor head retention. Mango, tropical fruit aromas. Sweet mango with almost no other flavour profiles. Far too sweet with no other interest but could go well with some spicy Thai or a strong blue cheese.

Considering that is a fruit beer, I think is a well achived mix. At the begin the mango aroma and taste is evident, the bitternes due to a lack in the hop content is almost lost, which in terms of the overall taste do not affect it in a significant way. Something different, but not my prefered kind of beer.

Pours virtually see-through with light golden bubbles. The mango aroma hits straight away. Not much malt or hops taste. Bit of sugar. But mango overpowers. Would suit those who favour cider. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 From a 330ml bottle on 18/2/2014. Pours a clear golden with virtually no head. Has a strong aroma of mango. Has a strong taste of sweet mango and little else. Thereís no bitterness evident here at all. Has a light body and lively carbonation. Iím a little torn here - I quite like mangos, so I canít be too harsh on this. For me, itís much closer to a soft drink than a beer, and itís hard to detect any alcohol. It would probably be more interesting if it had a little more dry, bitter character to it. But itís reasonably refreshing, albeit that one would probably be enough.

DMís Yep pale and all the rest. Novelty beer thatís sweet and not like mango at all. Tastes like sweet peach essence is added, struggled with one.

(Bottle) Clear pale gold with thin white head. Fruity aroma, which seems more peach, than mango to me! Quite pleasant, if unusual for a beer. Light body with good carbonation. Taste is really quite pleasant, but it seems rather a stretch to call it a beer. The foretaste and mid palate are all fruit and sweetness. The fruit is presumably mango, although again to me it seemed peachy (I have been eating fresh mangoes so perhaps that distorts my expectations). The sweetness seems mostly candy like. it isnít overwhelming though and is quite pleasant. Only in the finish is there a hint of beer - a malty sweetness appears, followed by a growing bitterness. A refreshing fruity drink - if you want a fruity alcoholic beverage this has a lot going for it, but if you want a beer with a hint of fruitiness maybe not so much.
