COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Legend has it that the brave men who sailed the Kimberley seas in search of the elusive pearl loved a good beer. Our master brewer has created a frothy monument to our rich heritage with this delicious, full malt pale ale just bursting with local flavour and deep character. Perfect for slaking a thirst on a hot summers day or stowing a few away on a wild stormy night. Any way you take it, this beer’s an absolute pearler!

Clear golden and filtered body with aroma of buttery toast, little hop character, very (very) average APA, the blurb is BS......."an absolute pearler"...not!

Garden variety macro PA here. In fact I would picked this blind as a pale lager which, technically speaking, probably is. Sweet, slightly sticky adjuncts in force. Weak finish with little bitterness. Crap.

Bottle. Just your average pale. touches of citrus and biscuit in the aroma. taste has a mild caramel malt backing to back up the mild citrus flavours. not amazing but a decent pale none the less

Poured a clear golden amber with a thin white bubble head that diminished quickly and did not lace. Aroma of floral hops. Taste slightly sweet followed by light hops bitterness. Light body. Soft light finish, more like a pilsner.

330mL bottle. Pours clear light golden with a nice zesty floral aroma. The sweet malt complements the citrus/floral flavour well. Not a bad aussie effort.

330ml stubbie: pours light gold, med carbonation and a sweet nose. Sessionable beer but seems to have too much of a sweet, almost lager like palate. Definitely doesn’t taste anything like the better aus pale ales out there.

330ml bottle. Clear looking amber colour with a scattering of white foam that vanishes quickly. Some citrus and flowery aromas but nothing that jumped out at me. The flavour is okay but a bit light on. Not much left on the palate. Middle of the road pale ale.

Pours gold with a small head. Nose shows grapefruit, passion-fruit and piny hops, along with some spicy notes and faint caramel. Not as interesting flavours, some faint fruity and floral hops followed by bready malt. Could use a little more carbonation.

Bottle. Clear gold with a small white head that fades fast. Aroma of oranges, light tropical fruit, caramel. Rather sweet and quite fruity with bitterness that build to just about balancing.
