hopscotch (4588), Vero Beach, Florida, USA May 17, 2004 Crystal clear, light straw-colored beer. Thin and fizzy. Nondescript flavor and aroma. Ultra light-bodied. Refreshing, but bland. Clean, dry finish. Not bad for the style. muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA Jan 9, 2004 12 oz bottle; damn why can't I get this on tap??? Very light watered-down applejuice color, with small fizzy 7-up type head. Aroma I would say actually is beerish, sort of sweet corn-inflected malty. Weak, and not really good, but an aroma nonetheless. Flavor is, I kid you not, tonic water pure and simple. I get NOTHING else. Fizzy, very slightly stale finish. OK after this and the Rolling Rock version I'm done with low-carbs unless Westvleteren makes one (oh, but then the world would end so never mind). JPDIPSO (4286), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Nov 27, 2004 Dull light yellow color with a modest white head. Dry malt aroma, actually more of a sake aroma. Devoid of flavor, well except for cardboard, corn, dry grass and hint of oats. fairly thin and fizzy as expected. Stop the insanity. tiggmtl (4179), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jun 12, 2004 Mildly fruity aroma with hints of mint. Very pale. No head. Carbonated water has more flavour than this. Thin watery mouthfeel. Bottle (sampled at Mondial 2004). DocLock (4170), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA May 7, 2004 Why, Matt, why? Give me Saranac Caramel Porter or give me death!! No more of this low carb shit!
