Pours a thick beige head with sweet malts aromas. Amber colored body. Nice attack in mouth with a thick palate but little length. Easy drinking with a light bitter aftertaste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Très foncée, belle mousse onctueuse. Nez caramel. Bouche café torréfié, amère et peu sucrée. Palais long et très (trop?) amer. IPA originale.

Bottle from Village De La Bière, Strasbourg consumed at Fischers Fritz Camping, Kirchner, Nr Zurich, Switzerland, Thursday 23rd June 2016. Very much a dark amber coloured beer with a foamy white/off-white head. Smells a bit like brewing day on the nose but more malty than hoppy, a little fruity but not so much, the maltiness has a damp aroma to it. Once again I get too much residual sweetness. It’s ok. Pours with really nice head. Colour dark amber. Very week aroma of malt and blunt hop. In taste much better. Very hoppy and tasty. Overall the beer is good but I cut a lot for luck of or very sparse dry hoping in IPA.

Pas très agréable au nez (à mon goût), mousse onctueuse à souhait. Goût axé sur le Malt avec une légère torréfaction, bonne amertume due aux houblons. Pas trop fan mais je ne doute pas qu’elle puisse bien plaire.

I have written before that the French craft brewers are unknowingly introducing a new Brown IPA style, and this is yet another example! It’s like an ambrée on malts, standard US yeast, well hopped (but more bittering than aroma) and not quite clean. And I personally really dig it. I have to brew one myself some time! Superbe bière, amertume forte . Par 2 super brasseurs, une belle réussite et une imagerie sympa, ce qui est un petit plus.

Bottle. Dark golden, hazy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish aroma, caramel and some bread, light fruitiness, light herbal/citrus hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish flavor, light -some caramel and light bread with light fruitiness, light herbal/citrus hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light - some caramel and light bread, light fruitiness, light herbal/citrus hoppyness. Maybe an "French IPA" but not real one. Not very enjoyable.
