2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask at the Bricklayerís Arms, Putney, 16th Jan 08. Rich chestnut colour. Slight aroma of smoke and malt. Flavour is sweet caramel and then smokiness. Palate is rather soapy and light. A good smoked beer if you donít really like smoky flavours that much. Pales into comparison with a proper rauchbier.
