Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 09. Very deep ruby colour with no real head. Yes, a half decent choccy porter with some dark fruits. Decent. Quite drinkable.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2008. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has roasted malty caramel aroma with some hints of chocolate. Roasted malty slighlty fruity caramel flavor with some hints of chocolate. Has a roasted malty caramel finish.

Cask, 4.4% at GBBF08. Almost black colour. Stable frothy light brown head. Good roasted aroma. The flavour is also nicely roasted. Thin mouthfeel, but very good flavour.

Cask at the Trafalgar with Mes, 25th April 2008. Dark brown with a persistent line of cream head. Aroma of chocolate malt mixed with some sulphur and farmyard notes. Soft on the tongue with a sweet malt/caramel flavour.

Cask @ Market Porter (Apr ’08). Dark brown colour with tan head. Aroma is funky, sulphur, caramel. Taste is malty, some chocolate, pretty sweet & fruity. Pretty good.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at the Trafalgar.
An almost black, cloudy dark brown. Good chocolate malt aroma with some slight sulphur and a bit of pig farm. Pleasant tarry malt flavour, nicely dry, a bit of chocolate, dusty, light sweetness. Not bad at all.

On gravity at the Bristol Beer Festival 14/3/08. Dark brown with reddish undertones and a slight tan head. Aroma of caramel, red fruit and a touch of roasted malt. Flavour was slightly sweet with some chocolate, more fruit and a short bitter finish. Good.
