On tap in Pilsen. Matuska strikes again! Another excellent, excellent beer. Beautiful golden colour, aroma is clean, grassy, hoppy, chewy and doughy. Are these guys even capable of making a bad beer!?

Postupně sem budu doplňopvat piva, co jsem vypil a zapsal si, chvilku to asi bude trvat a proto k těm dříve vypitým pivům nebudou žádně "dojmy" .

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
draught at Zly Casy Beer Festival 2009. This is a beer brewed at Strahov’s Martin Matuska’s brand new brewery in Broumy. Amber colour (although called svetly, it looks like a good polotmavy), hazy, large off-white head that is very creamy. Malty start with a lot of honey. Very hoppy in the middle and the lingering dry finish. Superb.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Zlý Časy beer festival. Well balanced pilsener with a nice variety throughout from start to finish. Sweetness at the start that feels more subbstantial in the middle, and leaves a lingering pleasantness at the finish. Couldn’t really identify any of the flavours though.

A Mes rate: Keg at GBBF.
Beautifully clean yellow gold with a superb lasting white head. This was an unfiltered version if that means anything. Just an amazing bit of Czech hoppage. Faint biscuity malt, loads of dry grassy notes and a really clean finish. Surrounded by run of the mill British stuff on the table, this was the only thing I wanted to drink at that point. So bloody drinkable I had to go back and get some more. Had a good chat with the brewer who was a really nice chap and he ended up giving me a free half and a Bernard glass. Nice one mate!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dunkelgelb, leicht trüb mit schöner Blume, relativ wenig Kohlensäure. Blumiges, reifes Hopfenaroma. Beginnt malzig-lieblich bevor der aromatische Hopfen gegen Mitte immer mehr anzieht. Ausgewogen und sehr süffig.
