Byli jsme první, kdo IBA v ČR uvařil. V Anglii byla Černá Raketa vyhlášena Darrenem Turpinem vítězem v kategorii BEST OVERSEAS DRAUGHT BEER při jeho degustační soutěži GOLDEN PINT AWARDS 2010 – MY SELECTION. Tak to nás potěšilo.

Bottle 0,75l. Great citrusy aroma, hints of dark caramel, alcohol, plum liquer. Red/brown colored, opaque, medium carbonated beer. Flavor is full, intensive and complex, quite bitter, sweet, tones of citrus, fruit, dark malt and grains, dark fruit liquer, bitter chocolate. Long-lasting bitter aftertaste. Very good and interesting ale.

Bottle 0,75l from Base Camp Praha. Dark ruby color, hazy body, big creamy beige head. Very nice citrusy and roasty aroma, tones of hop, caramel, malt, dark fruits. In taste domination of hop bitterness, medium sweetness. Grains, malt, grapefruit, lemon zest, roasted dark fruits as dates or figs, caramel, full cocoa chocolate. Aftertaste is very long, dry and bitter. Medium carbonation, full body.
Black killer! It was my first IBA, interesting experience.

Cunningham (4929) - Halden, NORWAY - NOV 2, 2014
Appearance: A complete absence of light on the other side of this one. A nice creamy beige head that leaves an ok lacing.
Aroma: Coffee, chocolate, fruity and mild roasted.
Palate: Full thick oily body. Slightly sweet with a fine bitterness. Soft to average carbonation. Creamy texture.
Taste: Coffee, chocolate, fruity and mild roasted.
Overall impression: Smooth, tasty and balanced! Stayed a bit to long in the basement, so the hoppy notes is not so strong.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with Aniela

Bottle. Aroma of caramel, hops and chocolate. Taste of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, kinda sweetish and citrushops at the very end, providing a (slightly too) bitter ending. I was wondering if this was supposed to be a stout while drinking it. It´s ok, but I´m not as fond of it as with the other Matuska beers.

CanCrusher (670) - Ilirska Bistrica, SLOVENIA - MAY 14, 2014
0,50L on tap at Pivarium Zelena Kočka and bottle 0,75L at home. Dark, ruby brown colour with large, frothy, light brown head. Aroma of pine, juniper, grass, herbs, light citruses, black coffee and some smoke. Taste starts light acidic, followed by lemon and caramel, while the finish is medium bitter. Full body, oily (and dry) texture, soft carbonation. This beer is good and needs better label, becouse this one looks boring. At least they should put rocket on it...Actually, all Matuska labels looks boring.

Výčap Richtár Jakub. Čierna farba a bledo hnedá krémová pena. Vôňa kakaová, horká čokoláda, sladké drievko, jemne chmeľ. V chuti na začiatku zľahka sladkosť, neskôr karamel, horká čokoláda a silná chmeľová horkosť. Telo husté, suché. Veľmi príjemné pivo.

From a bottle. Very nicely hopped IBA, both aroma and taste combine citruses with some spices (cloves?) Will definitelly try again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
