Byli jsme první, kdo IBA v ČR uvařil. V Anglii byla Černá Raketa vyhlášena Darrenem Turpinem vítězem v kategorii BEST OVERSEAS DRAUGHT BEER při jeho degustační soutěži GOLDEN PINT AWARDS 2010 – MY SELECTION. Tak to nás potěšilo.

From a bottle. Very nicely hopped IBA, both aroma and taste combine citruses with some spices (cloves?) Will definitelly try again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

07.04.2014, 0,75l bottle @ BBGTC tasting:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is very mild, dark malts, dark fruits, burnt caramel, roasted grain, hay, hints of coffee. Taste is slightly sweet roasted, dark malts, sugar, hay, grain, caramel, cereal, toast. Medium bitterness, slightly watery mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle from Pivoteka Beergeek, Prague, shared with BBGTC. Pours a deep brown, near-black body with a medium creamy light beige head. Nose is caramel, mild chocolate tones, grass and hints of wet leaves. Taste is mild grass, chocolate, grains, caramel, hints of roasted bread, wet leaves and herbs. Medium to full body and carbonation. A bit low on hops, but otherwise a pretty decent BIPA.

on tap at Nota Bene Restaurant. Deep brown, almost black, with a creamy beige-brown head. Coffee and hop aroma. Full-bodied, dark malts start with coffee and bitter chocolate and then make way for intensive aromatic hops with loadas of resiny, grassy and fruity flavours. Good.

Tapped at hostinec Richtar Jakub in Bratislava. First of all I am no IBA fan. Never been so far. However, the aroma is fantastic! Citrus hoppy aroma combined with a pleasant roasted malt scent. Black color but dark amber when flash lighted. Nice creamy espresso head, stable, longlasting. The taste is ok for me. Citrus flavors combined with dark chocolate, roasted malt, coffee. I am beginning to like this beer a lot. The dark chocolate and roasted malt finish is not that aggressive as previous IBAs I have drunk. Overall, this IBA is a pleasant surprise!
