COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Agnus patří do skupiny chmelů Super High Alpha. Pozor na něj, rád hází přes palubu.

Bottle. Pours nice cloudy golden liquid with big frothy, but quickly disappearing head. Aroma is not like an ordinary lager - lot of fruitiness, also some pine, but typical bready line is present, too. Taste is little bit unexpected, starts sweet, but became very bitter. Beer has a full body, thick texture (navy lager) and average carbonation. Ends with long dry finish. Probably best lager for me, since I’m not so educated in this genre.

Bottle. Slightly over Golden with a dense white head. Aroma is tremendous. Like Saaz diluting juice and bread dough. The flavour initially pays out on the promise of the aroma but then gives way to a fairly rampant bitterness. As the bottle progresses, it grows less charming. Nice enough and a break from the norm.

on tap @ zelena kocka pivarium, Brno. nice amber appearence with white head which stays. aroma is grass, pine and bready. a bit of a come down after tasting their IPA. Taste is suprisingly different. Now comes through the hops which seem hidden in the aroma. medium body. slighly bitter but nice soft hop aromas coming thorugh. seems like they again have used american hops in this lager/pils which is very different and great.

My Bottom Line:
Earthy, leafy hops are balanced out by silky honeyed malts while orange-y fruitiness adds depth to this polished brew.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam floats atop the misty amber.
-This tastes and feels like a well tendered cask ESB.
-Drinkability is quite high despite the hoppy intensity.
-Mouthfeel is healthy ; not dry, but not too sweet either.

On tap at Nota Bene, Praha.

On tap at Nota Bene Restaurant (01/03/13). Slightly hazy gold pour, white head. Aroma is really fruity, hops are peachy turn earthy turn leafy, lots of vegetal aromas, dank, leafy, fruity english malt/yeast. Taste is bitter, fruity, resinous vegetal finish. Definitely a new world style, really a hybrid of several things, didn’t really get any pils character here. Not bad, but I prefer their IPAs by a mile and a half.

Pale yellow color with big white head. Aroma of malts, diacetyl, honey notes as well. Taste is light bitter then light to medium sweet and the end is dry and bitter. Good balance. Medium body, oily texture, avarage carbonation. Pretty nice beer.

0.75l bottle from Pivni Rozmanitosts stall at Prague’s Easter market on Namesti republiky. Hazy deep golden colour, bin white head. Grainy malty base, lots of hop with a lemony, resiny character, reminding me strongly of an IPA. Full-bodied and smooth - a delicious and very hoppy beer.

Bottle. Pours dark amber with a huge, frothy, rocky head - beautiful to look at! The nose is initially disappointing, given the brewer. Intensive grassy-herbal Czech hops, a lot of malt that is somewhere between worty and bready, some apples and basement aromas. Well, like a regular Czech pils, not really above average. But the taste is much better! A full malty body, only a tad sweet but oily and almost sticky in the mouth, a strong noble bitterness and an aftertaste of hops, basement and nuts. Very well balanced and better when it warms up a bit. Almost like a sticky-bodied märzen that’s been really assertively hopped. What a nice surprise!

Drafted at Klub Malych pivovaru.A beer full of flavor but I found the bitterness to be a bit too much!I just didn’t think it was so well balanced. The after taste is nothing more than a burning bitterness that doesn’t have any other flavor..Don’t get me wrong,I am a big fan of bitter beers but this just needs a bit more balance..I found myself struggling to drink this after my first beer..
