COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pšeničné patří do projmutého tenkostěného poháru, který je na tento druh piva určen! Jedině tak, si dobré pšeničné vychutnáte. My tyto poháry na naše pšeničné dodáváme. Pro toto pivo je typický kvasnicový zákal. Pšeničné zažívá ve světě i u nás svoji renesanci. Svým původem patří k nejstarším druhům piva, zmínky lze nalézt již ve středověku.
Editor’s note: ABV used to be 5.1.

On tap at Prague Beer Museum. Probably the best weizen in CZ. The beer is a harmony of taste, aroma color and palate. It´s very refreshing due to crisp fruity tones.

Very good one! One of the best weizens in the Czech Republic. Pale yellowish cloudy appearance with thin foam. Grass and herbs adds to all this beauty in taste, texture is a bit thin and this is good since the beers tastes really fresh. You can find a lot of herbs actually. Finish is not so long because of that and beer looks like too light for a weizen, but it is not true and finally you have a really classic weizen beer.

I find this medium-to-high in the banana sweetness department; right down the middle. Very clovey, so spicy in this regard that it stuns the lips a little. Aroma is pepper, hay, a little bubblegum. Yeast pour yields a little sourness. Slightly smoky (!) and very organic feel to this beer. Great dense head, great body; this brewery has bottle-conditioning down solid!

On tap in Pilsen. Hazy, light, golden colour. Bubblegum and banana in the aroma, taste is vanilla, yeasty spice, more banana. A fantastic beer. Loved it, and I don’t generally love the style.

I think this is about the perfect hefe. Had both on draft at Zlý Časy and in bottle. Not overly yeastly like US versions, probably a little more clove and dryness than German versions, big carbonation....i think its the best beer in this style I’ve had....if you are in the Czech Republic make sure you hunt down some Matuska. Thanks for the tip on this beer Max.

On tap at Velka Klasterni Restaurace on 10th July 2010. Hazy yellow with lacing white head. Beautifully fruity back-taste alongside classic yeast aromas. Citric and berry fruit, namely lemon and cherry, yet not overly sweet. Also remarkably easy to drink despite being 5.1. I enjoyed this wheatbeer very much.

Bottle. Wow, this doesn’t look merely hazy, it resembles vanilla-orange pudding or even a glass filled with sand. That may be the most hazy beer I’ve ever head. Head is fluffy - the looks on this one are excellent. Aroma is full of cloves, malt, banana, vanilla, yeast, faint smoke and initially some faint Czech hops. Very biscuity, fruity and also phenolic taste. Lots of banana, cloves and yeast. Subtly sourish taste with a light bitter finish. Spotless, perfectly balanced hefeweizen. I don’t think it’s possible to brew anything better within this style.

On Tap @ BeerGeek Bar Prague. Hazy, pale golden. Big white head that lingers. Nice aroma of fresh fruit, yeast, herbs and wheat. Mild carbonated, medium body. Nice taste of banana, yeast, banana, mild herbs, honey, yellow wine gum. Crisp finish.

A Mes rate: Keg at GBBF.
This is my first Czech weizen and my god it’s a blinder. Perfect cloudy yellow with a solid white head. So often these beers end up being all banana and wheat. Obviously they’re still there but there is also malt, excellent Czech hops and spice. Banana hop finish is gorgeous. Glorious stuff and possibly the best weiss I have had.
