COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

TOP!

0.75l shared with Milat. Again, losing notes sucks, especially for a milestone rating. This one was slightly less fruity than the other two, though still somewhat citric. Quite pronounced bitterness, impressive, daring stuff, herbal, grassy for the biggest part. Very good and, like the other two, even if I don’t find the notes, I’m sure as hell rerating them next time I’m in Prague!

2nd October 2014, 0.75 litre bottle shared with the wife in Beergeek, Prague. Dark, deep golden body with a mini-haze. Aroma of mild maltiness and oranges, with tropical fruits. Flavour is hop laden but with a fruity feel and a bitter finish. Another good beer from this brewery. I had another two Raptor IPA’s on-tap while visiting Prague, very pleasant beer indeed.

Aroma: light cereal malts, light flowers, some grass and grapefruit. Appearance: cloudy yellow, average creamy white head. Taste: light sweet and bitter. Palate: medium body, bitter average-long finish, grassy and flowery hops expanding. Overall: surprisingly malty in finish and palate, not my favourite IPA. Pint at the GBBF 2014, Kensington.

Aroma of light malt, orange, lots of tropical fruits such as grapefruit and mango. Flavour is fruity and hoppy with a nice bitterness in the finish. Exemplary IPA, best I found on my 4 day trip to Prague.
