Keg at Kulovy Blesk. This was a real treat. Pale Hazy Gold with a Thick White head. The aroma is amazing. Belgian yeast spice which actually takes on a genuine culinary spice feel. Cloves, Cardamom, White Pepper. The Flavour is textbook Saison. Slighly funky, Sourish and acidic. A real farmhouse feel. This has got to be one of the best beers in the Czech Republic. Matuska, you’ve done it again.

(draught) pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of pepper, yeast, herbal hops and light straw, tobacco and gravy. flavour is mostly the same, light soap and barnyard, with a hint of tobacco, cherries, caramel and a slightly minerally finish. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap @ Zly Casy Great beer. Spicy yeasty aroma. Some farm, meadow flowers and dry hay. Nice proper dryness and good carbonation.

On tap in Pilsen. Beautiful, golden colour that bursts out of the glass, aroma of tropical fruit and the taste is spicy and delicious. Doesn’t get much better. Amazing.

on tap at klub malych pivovaru, spring 2011 (and hopefully making a return appearance any day now). bright golden with a light haze and a persistent and splotchy off-white head which lasted the whole way down the glass and left an abundance of lacing trailing in its wake; juicy aroma of tropical fruit, passionfruit, vanilla cheesecake, hints of whiteboard markers and artificial banana; quite invigorating with some alcohol showing (which i prefer to the lighter kocour version) and some spicy, menthol hops in the finish. rich and fluent, come back soon

ElDesmadre (1482) - Mikołów, POLAND - MAY 25, 2011
Draught at Jáma in Prague. Light golden with rocky but quickly dissipating head. Aroma is very fruity - mainly tropical fruit like maracuja, some banana, a bit of bubblegum plus spices. Lovely. Taste is also tropical fruitiness with maracuja at the front, and a spicy finish (cardamom, ginger). Light to moderate carbonation and taste intensivity. In spite of the 16,5° and the relatively high alcohol content this is a surprisingly light and refreshing beer. Great!
