On tap at Zlý Časy beer festival. Well balanced pilsener with a nice variety throughout from start to finish. Sweetness at the start that feels more subbstantial in the middle, and leaves a lingering pleasantness at the finish. Couldn’t really identify any of the flavours though.

Golden colour, white head. Aroma of Saaz hops, malts. Taste is light bitter, slightly sweet. Very well balanced. Light body, slick texture, average carbonation. One of the best Pilsners I´ve had.

Výčap Zlý časy. Ůžasná zlatá farba s ešte lepšou hustou bielou penou. Vôňa sladová, jemne seno a chmele.

Postupně sem budu doplňopvat piva, co jsem vypil a zapsal si, chvilku to asi bude trvat a proto k těm dříve vypitým pivům nebudou žádně "dojmy" .

On tap in Pilsen. Matuska strikes again! Another excellent, excellent beer. Beautiful golden colour, aroma is clean, grassy, hoppy, chewy and doughy. Are these guys even capable of making a bad beer!?

Tap @ Jama, Prague. Pours unclear yellow with a creamy white head and lacings. Nose and taste is dry, grassy, floral and overall very hoppy. Crisp and dry flavor with plenty of hops and a bit of buiscuit. Very quaffable

[ As Matuška Pils ]. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, moderate hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090804]

A Mes rate: Keg at GBBF.
Beautifully clean yellow gold with a superb lasting white head. This was an unfiltered version if that means anything. Just an amazing bit of Czech hoppage. Faint biscuity malt, loads of dry grassy notes and a really clean finish. Surrounded by run of the mill British stuff on the table, this was the only thing I wanted to drink at that point. So bloody drinkable I had to go back and get some more. Had a good chat with the brewer who was a really nice chap and he ended up giving me a free half and a Bernard glass. Nice one mate!
