Hazy medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheaty, fruity, banana, light hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090804]

on tap at klub malych pivovaru in pilsen. quite a pale yellow with a never-say-die white head; aroma of banana and clove, very sweet and almost musky; plenty of sticky malt sweetness - banana smoothie but with a fresh grassiness in the finish making it quite more-ish

This good weat beer has an almost Belgian aroma. The palate was smooth and slightly flat. It’s also quite bitter. Very good against thirst and a good beer overall.

Cloudy yellow color, white head. Spicy and banana taste, also malty. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Malty and banana scent.

Keg at Euston Tap. Cloudy gold with a monstrous white head. Big yeast and clove aroma. Flavor is so so. Bit of sugar, plenty of yeast, some banana. Medium in body with lively carbonation. Subtle sugar finish, bit more yeast. Not bad, but slightly bland.

De barril. Hazy golden, nice white head. Fruity bit sweet wheat aroma, banana. Good mouthfeel. Fruity wheat flavour, medium bitterness.

Fruity aroma of caramel with notes of bananas.
Fruity flavour of caramel and bananas with notes of hops and esters.
Fruity and hoppy finish.

Tap @ Zly Casy. Pours a tremendous unclear to hazy yellow with a creamy fully lasting white head and lacings. Nose and taste is sweet with esters, banana, wheat and yeast. Quite heavy with sweet banana all around. Medium and smooth palate.

Banana, bubble gum, sweet wheat malt. A little lemon in the tail. Might be true to style, but this does not do the trick for me.

This is my first Czech weizen and my god it’s a blinder. Perfect cloudy yellow with a solid white head. So often these beers end up being all banana and wheat. Obviously they’re still there but there is also malt, excellent Czech hops and spice. Banana hop finish is gorgeous. Glorious stuff and possibly the best weiss I have had.
