A special Belgian amber ale with a robust complexity of flavors. Fruit flavors like plum and cherry which are imparted from a special Belgian yeast mix, with a wide range of malt flavors.

Draft at Stone Bistro. Dark reddish amber pour, off-white head. Dark fruits, raisins, toffee, sweet malt, light spice, and Belgian yeast. Fairly nice beer, I wouldn’t seek it out to hard though.

Sample at Maui Brewing in Lahaina. Pours a thick brown with a thin beige head. Aroma has some dusty quality, aged fruit, mildly roasted with some spice. Flavour of candied sugar, raisins, dates, some spice. Wow! This is impressive and, again, may have gotten extra points for being such an unexpected treat in hot and humid Maui. Worth finding.

yeasty, bubblegumy nose with some hottness and some cherry twizzler. nice looking red-tinted dark burnt amber, the halo settling in a thin ring. yeast, bubblegum, and candi sugar flavors and some overall hotness. the hotness, yeastiness and sweetness combine cloyingly.
