COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale was developed in Burton, England, as a "Super-Premium" hoppy pale ale around 1800. The extra strength in alcohol and hops helped preserve the beer on its long export journeys to India and beyond. The style developed a following worldwide. Its flavor begins with a smooth, malty creaminess followed with a big burst of dry-hop flavor from English Kent Golding Hops. It then finishes with a lingering yet pleasant bitterness.

Big Swell IPA is a fresh handcrafted India Pale Ale brewed with huge amounts of American hops and malted barley...dry hopped to perfection!

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein oranges Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, hopfig fruchtig, bitter. Geschmack intensiv fruchtig hopfig, stark malzig.

A- Pours a deep, clear, copper color with a 1 finger off white head. S- Caramel, big and malty with hints of floral hops. T- Malty up front, lots of caramel leading to a small hop kick. M- A little thick and creamy. Lots of carbonation. D- Not a bad beer but not one that I particularly enjoyed.

Keg Half Pint at White Horse American Beer Festival 2012, Parsons Green, London in July 2012 - Orangey Gold in colour. Very fruity; orange citrus and tropical fruits. Hoppy; piney resinous and earthy hops. Malty; malted barley. Mildly bitter fruity hoppy throughout. Decent.

Grassy aroma. Sips medium to full and moderately syrupy sweet. Carbonation is moderate. Malt sweetness and caramel are pretty forward, but with a nice bitter hop flavor and bitterness to compliment. Hops are grassy with slight resin stickiness. Decent ipa that leaves the palate wet and slick.

Big roast and caramel malt aromas. Clear golden colour with good head. Nice big malt flavour up front with bitter hop finish. Med to heavy body with med carbonation ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Orange-amber body, light golden head. This is a malt forward IPA, toasty even, but unfortunately the hops here offer dull aromatics and a medicinal bitterness. Just okay.

Clear golden yellow with a lasting white head, citrus and floral aroma with big hops flavours. A great IPA.

clear yellow straw with a minimal white head and retention. subtle citrus - seems faded, peppery, spicy, peach, light pine, some crisp pale malts and herbs. average carbonation, light to medium body - oily, decent spicy-citrusy finish

Can - Malt aroma malt palate - no hops here - super disappointing - don’t think it’s faulty.
