2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice golden raisen ale with an etched surface and a rim of light white foam. Excellent clarity. Smells kinda weak, some pine, peach and a healthy crystal malt sweetness. Taste is bitter and carries grapefruit pith, some dry orange peel, some biscuit and sweet malts. Medium bodied and moderate carb with a dry finish. It seems like a par for the course beer.

3 dec 2013, can. Light orange, faintly hazy, frothy head. Nose is orange and pineapple. Med body and faintly fizzy. Cereal malt with some pineapple and grassy notes. Okay. Nothing "big" about it.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: NOV 26, 2013 Intense aroma of hops, noticeable citrus and floral. Hazy amber color, very big white head that stays for some time. Taste is exactly like smell: hoppy, citrus, floral, grapefruit bitter. Aftertaste isn’t as bitter and long as I hoped from the first sip. Medium carbonation. Overall: nice one. The floral tastes may put off some, but I think it gives more character to the beer.

Amber with a lot of foam. Smooth citrus taste. Hoppy but not over powering. Definitely an IPA for sessioning

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Not at all what I look for in an IPA. Hoppyness is almost nonexistent. Has a weird fruity undesirable finish; I think it’s passion fruit. It’s really an unwanted add, but I think they were going for something distinctly Hawaiian

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Kort eftersmak.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This was OK. The aroma was not as strong as advertised with a citrus hop smell. The color was a light copper, dark golden color with a big head. I will say that I am becoming a bigger fan of the canned beer. Palate was average with a crisp feel and adequate carbonation. Hops were up front with a touch of citrus and maybe pineapple. Maybe I’m prejudiced to think a Hawaiian brewery always secretly uses pineapple. Medium malt background with a graininess. East to drink but falls into the average ranks for this style.
