3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can: Poured a bright orangey color ale with a rather large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and grapefruit hops seems very fresh with a subtle caramel malt base. Taste is also dominated by some green citrus and grapefruit hops with a subtle malt base sustaining quite well the hops profile. Full body with good carbonation. Better then expected and very well done for a West Coast IPA.

12 oz can purchased at the Rodeo General Store in Makawao. Canned 052312 (thank you Maui for clearly dating your beers). Woah, drinking this 5 days after it was canned. The pour is light haze golden. The aroma is fresh resin, dank and catty. Really clean and alive. The taste is fresh bright resin dank hops, along with nice clean fresh toasted malt under the hop brightness. The palate is medium to light bodied, with nice gentle natural carbonation. This was super fresh and nice, I was very happy to have it available pretty much everywhere I went on Maui. 12 oz can from MaltOMeal. Pour is cloudy copper orange with a rocky
one inch white head. Some floaties, pleasingly unfiltered looking. Aroma of round soft, citrus and resin hops. Some bready maltiness behind that. Taste is the citrus hops, nicely bitter - resin is present though more subdued than in the nose, and towards the back. Malt picks up midway, giving it a nice body and balance. Palate is medium, unfiltered, bitter with a nice hoppy lingering aftertaste. Nice IPA. Thanks Bill. (8,4,7,3,15 - 3.7)

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
can poured a golden amber color with a thin white head that left pillows on the surface once settled. aroma has nice hops,(pine, citrus peel, grapefruit, and light tropical) medium malt base, and some sweetness. mouth feel is thin with high carbonation. flavor moves in the bitterness and malted direction. pines, citrus rind, and resins from the hops are well balanced. sweetness is just right and the finish with some lasting bitterness and hop resins. easy to drink and very smooth.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice sweet hoppy smell with a fairly mild flavor of hops and some grain. Overall, a nice IPA without an overpowering flavor.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Definitely an English style IPA. Some malty aromas, with honey and fresh bread with hints of spicy hops, with traces of citrus peel. Pours an amber pale with a white head. The flavor was solid, nice hop flavor with a very balanced malt profile with some honey and, mild fruitiness. Solid beer though.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can: Amber colored pour with medium sized off white head. Piney nose with hints of grapefruit. Hoppy, piney, citrus taste. Not a big fan of IPA’s, but this wasn’t bad.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can, bonused from trade with BMan1113VR. Pours hazy orange, with a nice head. Aroma of pine and fruit hops, some light spice. Taste is very piney, some fruit. Good malt balance. Finish is hoppy bitter, with more pine. Mouth is full and smooth. Overall, a solid IPA and another great canned brew!

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Terrific piney pineapple aroma with a melange of passionfruit and starfruit. Not super-hoppy in the flavor, but nicely balanced. Creamy mouthfeel reminds me of 2% milk. Good stuff.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can. Aroma of big, resinous hops, grassy, spicy (minty), citrusy. Flavor oddly not nearly as lusciously hoppy, though does still have a tangy citrus quality. Not much malt there to back things up. Just let me down after the aroma.
