COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale was developed in Burton, England, as a "Super-Premium" hoppy pale ale around 1800. The extra strength in alcohol and hops helped preserve the beer on its long export journeys to India and beyond. The style developed a following worldwide. Its flavor begins with a smooth, malty creaminess followed with a big burst of dry-hop flavor from English Kent Golding Hops. It then finishes with a lingering yet pleasant bitterness.

Big Swell IPA is a fresh handcrafted India Pale Ale brewed with huge amounts of American hops and malted barley...dry hopped to perfection!

Saboreada siempre desde la lata.Buen balance entre caramel y lúpulo.Bien definida sin llegar a ser demasiado amarga.Muy bebible.Suerte de que viene en lata de tan lejos y aun preserva su frescor.

Pours golden wheat colored with a nice long lasting head from tap. Resiny hop aroma. Taste is pretty bitter. Very traditional ipa flavor. Pretty thin. Not very sweet. A moderate punch to the face.

Tropical fruit aroma, which always seems appropriate for a Hawaiian beer, along with grass and pine resin. Taste is more limited, mostly grapefruit and pine.

Pretty good. Nothing mind-blowing. Big grassy aroma. Like that’s all I’ve really been able to pull out of the aroma is just big grass. Like a fucking field of grass. As it warmed up, I got more maltiness and even less hops. Taste is grassy, malty, and bit of bitterness. Not really much to speak of as far as hops go. Couldn’t really nail down anything. It’s not bad but there are much better.

Poured from a 12 ounce can. Appearance is clear amber yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. Aroma is of grapefruit hops. Taste is of orange citrus along with notes of grapefruit and underlying hints of caramels malts. Palate is medium-bodied and somewhat crisp. Overall very easy to drink.

Couleur du cuivre avec une grande robe beige. L?arôme de pamplemousse et du l’herbe avec un peu de malt. En bouche il y a plein d?houblon bien équilibré avec le malt. Bonne mais ce n?est pas spectaculaire.

I was surprised by the big taste of this offshore IPA. The label says it is big, holy, bold, smooth and it believe it lives up to it promises. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Good enough that I want to rate it. Actually has some hops that are bold. I was having some less than beers and this is nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can. Clear gold int he glass. Medium sized fluffy white cap with nice sticky lace. Nose has grapefruity hops. Taste - resiny hops, grapefruit, clean malts. Long grapefruity finish with resin, long bitterness. good carboantion and a light body. Quite nice.
