COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale was developed in Burton, England, as a "Super-Premium" hoppy pale ale around 1800. The extra strength in alcohol and hops helped preserve the beer on its long export journeys to India and beyond. The style developed a following worldwide. Its flavor begins with a smooth, malty creaminess followed with a big burst of dry-hop flavor from English Kent Golding Hops. It then finishes with a lingering yet pleasant bitterness.

Big Swell IPA is a fresh handcrafted India Pale Ale brewed with huge amounts of American hops and malted barley...dry hopped to perfection!

On tap @ Barcelona Beer Festival í16 - Spain and on can from Saveur-Biere.com. Color: clear golden blond beer with medium carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: hoppy and floral domination. Good grassy domination. Exotic fruits. Really nice and pleasant nose. Taste: medium body with good sweet caramel malt with hoppy blast. Really fruit with mango and peach domination. Litchi notes. Good attenuation and really easy drinkable. Aftertaste: sweet wet bitterness and fresh exotic fruits. Nice IPA.

12oz can into glass, says 6.8%, Iíll take it. Pours a pale orange faded broze, transparent. Minimal lacing, medium head. Aroma of fresh pine, grass, orange peel, pepper, Clove, cedar, hops all over. Taste of prominent orange hop flavor, smooth interchange with a nice malt ease up front, consistent carbonation is enjoyable, bitter dry and sour finish. Decent brew.
