Commercial Description:
Our lightest beer, made from 100% malted barley. This blonde lager is what sailors really swam to shore for; it's light, with very little bitterness and a slight malt finish.

On tap at the Yard House, Waikiki. This is awful. Clear straw with a thin white head. Nose is absent, as is flavor. Watery and useless.

Sampled from a 12-oz aluminum can during Dark Lord Day ’09 at table 1. Pours a clear pale golden straw with a thin white foamy head that quickly disappears to a film top. Aroma of golden grain malt, some vegetable, dark pitted fruit and some grassy hops. Taste of citrus zest, golden grain malt and a hint of spice. A tad watery aftertaste but still a golden grain and citrus aftertaste. For an all-year summer beer, this is fine.

12oz can. Hazy yellow with a thick white head. Interesting and hoppy aroma of spicy herbs, grass, mango, peaches, and some pale malt. The flavor has light and bready malt with light sweetness countered by lots of spicy, and fruity hops with hints of peach and mango. Finishes bitter and dry, but overall has more hop flavor and aroma than bitterness. Light bodied with crisp carbonation. Very enjoyable overall, with lots of spicy and fruity hops. The can says helles, but this is way too hoppy. A cool take on a pils. If this was less than eleven dollars a sixer I would probably drink a lot of it.

Pours an orangish yellow with thick white head. Aroma of strong of malt, very slight citrus hops, and a citrus backbone is apparent. Flavor matches, but is very refreshing and enjoyable. This would definitely be a great beer for sitting out on a hot day or on the beach. Very solid. Happy to get this as an extra.

Can, 12 fl. oz. Pours a pale yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is Malt, DMS, vegetable and green peppers. The flavor is malty. The palate leaves the impression that this beer has had some autolyse, but it might be intentional. Ok beer after all.

Canette de 12 oz. Arômes très intéressants de houblon floral et herbeux. Robe blonde pâle, très légèrement trouble. Bien maltée pour le style, une touche de miel accompagne un houblon floral aromatique. Amertume moyenne. Une très bonne petite lager blonde.

Can. Pours cloudy yellow with a rocky 2 finger snow white head with some spotty lacing. The nose is sweet grain, malt and grassy hops. The taste is sweet malt, pilz hops and light spice with a crisp faint citrus finish. Light-to-medium body. Decent drinkable lager.

Pale greenish yellow with a small white head. The aroma has sulphur - strong DMS here - malt, grass, green peppers and a hint of citrus. Dry and grainy, grassy flavour with a touch of biscuit-y malt in the finish.
